学院各个专业及英语课程聘请来自全世界各地，具有高学历、专业知识和实践经验丰富的教师任教。全院教师之中有三分之一是英语教师，其中大部分都是来自英国、美国、澳洲、新加坡等英语系国家。专业课教师方面占教师总人数约一半，由外籍教师和海外留学归来的国内专业教师任教；他们丰富的教学经验以及国际化的视野，能更好的为学生辅导，为打算出国留学和国内就业的学生做好准备。
　　以下为各个课程部分骨干教师简介：

英语课程 English Programme  Mark Burns
	Mark is friendly, approachable and is popular among both students and staff. He aims to stay in wonderful Suzhou for many years to come. 他友好，平易近人，深受学生和同事的欢迎。他希望在今后的许多年里一直留在美好的苏州。
Mark Burns comes from England. He was a combat infantryman for 5 years before deciding on a change of career and headed to university. He was awarded his Master of Science degree in TESOL from the University of Stirling in 2006. This was following on from his Bachelor’s degree in Education from the same university. Mark is currently writing his PhD proposal and his area of interest is classroom dynamics. In 2005, he came to China to teach at a prestigious private school in Guangzhou and conduct research for his Masters dissertation. The following year, he was promoted to oversee the English program for 5000 students, and run the team of foreign teaching staff. Since he joined the College two years ago, he feels that the College provides an excellent professional environment for him and hopes to continue his professional development under its auspices. Mark coordinates English Proficiency and the Speaking and Listening components of the college IELTS course and teaches fast track English. Mark is also the coordinator of the English Club, a role he is passionate about. Mark's other passion is producing drama. His first English play ‘Mulan’ in 2007 was a great success on many counts. Mark is friendly, approachable and is popular among both students and staff. He aims to stay in wonderful Suzhou for many years to come. 　　Mark Burns来自英国，曾在军队里服役了5年。2006年，他次定离开役旅生涯转到教育工作，并在斯特灵大学获得了教育学士学位后继续进修，又获得了斯特灵大学的理科硕士学位，主修对外英语教学。目前，Mark正在撰写他的博士论文。 　　2005年，他来到中国，在广州一家有声望的私立学校教书，并进行他的硕士论文研究。到第二年，他被晋升为监督拥有5000个学生的英语课程，并管理和指导外国教学人员团队。 　　目前，Mark是学院的英语讲师，擅长的领域是课堂互动教学。他认为学院给他提供了一个极其良好的环境，可以让他继续他的专业发展。在学院，他主要负责英语应用能力和雅思预备课程的口语和听力部分，以及教授大学英语快班英语。同时，Mark也是英语俱乐部的负责人，一个他非常热爱的工作角色。07年他带领学生演出了学院的第一英语戏剧“木兰”，好评如潮。他友好，平易近人，深受学生和同事的欢迎。他希望在今后的许多年里一直留在美好的苏州。

刘永安 Ediyanto Liu
	Ever since he landed in China, Eddie has been captivated by the land and the people and has decided to stay.  永安决心来中国后，从此便被这里的一切所吸引着。
Ediyanto Liu has more than 10 years’ experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language. Coming from Singapore and Indonesia, he has joined the College for almost four years. Teaching English to Asian students is Eddie’s forte and passion. He first taught English to Indonesian students for 5 years before moving on to Singapore to pursue his Master of Arts degree at the National University of Singapore, majoring also in EFL. Upon graduation, he took up residence in Singapore and taught EFL courses there, for both Singaporean and Chinese students. Since 2005, he decided to venture out to China. Upon landing in China, Eddie has been captivated by both the land and the people and has decided to stay to nurture students for a global future. The English programmes provide a solid foundation for English language skills including listening, speaking, reading and writing. Intensive English courses are offered during the first semester, allowing students to rapidly gain proficiency in the language. The range of English courses offered effectively promotes the students’ English standard as well as prepare them for standardized exams. More than half of our graduates gain College English Test 4 qualification, which is higher than many universities in China. Many students also gain IELTS 6.0 to 6.5 qualifying them for entry to overseas universities. Eddie is currently the English Language Programme Director. 　　刘永安来自印度尼西亚，在学院任教将近四个年头。刘永安的第一个学位是在印度尼西亚的丹戎布拉大学获得的教育学士，主修英语，之后获得新加坡国立大学文学硕士学位，同样主修英语。毕业后留居新加坡教授英语，有超过10年教授英语作为第二语言的学生的教学经验。在新加坡他遇到了他第一班中国学生。后来，他决心来中国，从此便被这里的一切所吸引着。自2005年，刘老师就在学院担任讲师，2008年初出任课程主任一职。 　　一般英语课程帮助学生在听说读写等方面打下坚实的基础。学院在新生入学第一学期开设英语强化课程，帮助学生迅速地掌握及应用这门语言。我院超过半数的毕业生取得大学英语四级证书，四级通过率高于国内很多大学。很多学生取得雅思6.0、6.5的好成绩，进而升入海外大学学习。

Lee William Arthur
	Lee finds teaching to be the most rewarding career of all. He firmly believes that all students can achieve at high levels.  “Confidence,” he says “is the key to success.” Lee发现教育业是最让他能实现自我价值的职业，他坚信所有学生都能成才，他要同学提高自信心，因为自信是成功的关键。
Lee Williams has his Bachelor of Arts from California State University of Pomona, majored in English Language and Literature. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science at Walden University, USA specializing in Education (Teacher Leadership). Lee has joined the College for almost two years. He teaches a variety of courses which include College English, IELTS, and Radio Broadcasting. The latter is a course he designed as one more avenue to give students a chance to practice their English speaking. He is a native of Los Angeles, California (Go Lakers!).  He has been working in China as a teacher for the past five years. Lee’s work experience prior to coming to China was very colorful. Vendor, IT Consultant, Customer Care Representative are just a few of the titles he has held before settling on a career in academia. He finds this to be the most rewarding career of all. Lee is a gentleman. He firmly believes that all students can achieve at high levels.  “Confidence,” he says “is the key to success.” 　　Lee 本科毕业于加利福尼亚州立大学，主修英语语言文学。目前，他通过远程教育在攻读Walden大学的教育学硕士学位。Lee加入学院已快两年了，教授多个课程，包括大学及雅思英语等。 　　Lee 来中国之前的工作经历也同样丰富多彩，在从事过多种不同的工作后，最终他发现教育业是最让他能实现自我价值的职业，他坚信所有学生都能成才，他要同学提高自信，因为自信是成功的关键。

Olga Zavertkina
	Working in China and in Suzhou in particular has given Olga an invaluable deeper  understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture. 在中国特别是在苏州工作，使Olga对中国文化有非常宝贵的认识和深层次的了解。
Olga has extensive experience in teaching ESL both in China and abroad. Ogla has joined the College since 2005, and before that she had taught in  China for two years. Working in China and in Suzhou in particular has given her an invaluable deeper understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture. She views ESL teaching in China as a very rewarding career. Caring for her students and helping them to build their confidence have always been her main priorities as a teacher. Currently, she is coordinating College English 1 and College English 2 courses, which are intended to develop students’ English communication skills with emphasis on interactive learning. 　　Olga于中国和国外都具有丰富的非母语英语课程教学经验。在2005年加入学院之前已在中国工作两年。在中国特别是苏州的工作经验使她对中国文化有了非常宝贵的认识和深层次的了解。她认识到在中国教授英语是一个非常有意义的事业。关心和帮助学生建立他们的自信一直是她作为老师的主要职责。 　　现在，她正在教授大学英语一和大学英语二的课程，帮助学生提高英语交流技巧，强调互动学习。

专业课程 Specialisms  peter Swaine
	Peter is an avid reader of fiction from all genres and a ‘fair-weather’ golfer, rather than a ‘fair-way’ one.  He is also a fervent supporter of Manchester United and always believes ‘they were robbed!’ Peter喜欢阅读各种题材的小说，并且喜欢打高尔夫 (但只限喜欢，并未着迷)，他还是曼联的忠实球迷!
Peter has had his Master of Science (IT in Business) from Humberside Business School, UK. Prior to that, he completed his Bachelor of Science (Economics) Hons at UCW Aberystwyth, Wales. For the last ten years, he has held various posts within the academic community, being both a senior lecturer and an administrator. Previous to entering academia Peter had many years of experience at senior management level in small-medium industries. He has also worked for the Ministry of Defence in the UK, where he worked alongside fighter pilots on a Royal Air Force fighter base. Peter is an avid reader of fiction from all genres and a ‘fair-weather’ golfer, rather than a ‘fair-way’ one.  He is also a fervent supporter of Manchester United and always believes ‘they were robbed!’ Peter is head of the College’s Business Administration Program which has a very comprehensive subject portfolio, including: Management, Economics, Business Law, Sociology, Philosophy, OB, HRM, and Strategic Planning. The purpose of the BA Program is to give students a thorough grounding in what it means to be in business today.  The subject areas initially covered include - the generalist issues of modern society to the introductory knowledge required in the functional areas of business.  This knowledge is further supplemented by more in- depth specialist knowledge, enabling students to eventually become valuable members of the World’s business community. 　　Peter在英国威尔斯完成了他的理学学士学位（经济学）后，便转到享伯赛德商学院修读他的硕士学位（商业资讯科技）。在过去的十年中，Pete在学术界不同的岗位工作过，亦曾出任高级讲师和行政管理人员。在投身学术界前，Peter有多年在中小企业从事高级管理层工作的经验。他曾为英国国防部效力，在一个皇家空军基地与战斗机飞行员共事。 　　Peter喜欢阅读各种题材的小说，并且喜欢打高尔夫(但只限喜欢，并未入迷)，他还是曼联的忠实球迷! Peter是学院工商行政管理专业的课程主任，该专业涵盖面广，包括管理学、经济学、商业法、社会学、哲学、组织行为学、人力资源管理以及运筹学等。 　　工商行政管理专业课程的宗旨在于让学生对当今商业界有深刻的认识。课程涉及当代社会的综合性发展，商业运作领域的入门知识及深层次的专业知识等，使学生最终能够成为当今世界商业团体中一名有价值的成员。

Alfred W Croucher
	Alfred is an Old China Hand who has been living and working in China since 1978. Alfred 在 1978年就来到中国工作和生活，是一个名副其实的“中国通”。
Alfred W Croucher is an Old China Hand who has been living and working in China since 1978. Before that he was an industrial Engineer working in light industry in Sydney for nine years. He came to China as one of the early Australian exchange students to study at the Beijing Language University. He stayed on in Beijing after studying Chinese and in 1980 became the Beijing manager of an Australian China trade consultancy. In 1996, he returned to Australia and completed an MBA and in 2002, he returned to China to be become a teacher of business administration. He joined the College in 2005 and developed the logistics specialism as well as several social science subjects. 　　Alfred 在 1978年就来到中国工作和生活，是一个名副其实的“中国通”。来中国之前，他作为一名工业管理学的工程师在悉尼工作了九年之久。作为早期的澳大利亚交流学生，他得到去北京语言大学进行深造的机会。之后他定居北京，并在1980年在澳中贸易顾问公司担任北京地区经理，而后在另一家澳洲商贸公司担任中国地区经理。1984年他移居香港。1996年他返回澳洲，完成工商管理硕士学位。2002年他回到中国，决心转向教育业，成为一名商科的老师。Alfred于2005年加入学院，成为物流管理专业课程带头人，同时也负责部分公共课程。

Ong Yen Leng 王燕玲
	Yen Leng has extensive exposure in the corporate world in both accounting and banking industries,  covering various functions of treasury department, foreign exchanges and derivative products. 燕玲在商业机构包括会计行和银行工作多年，有丰富的工作经验，熟识财务、金融的各项职能，包括外币兑换及衍生产品等。
Yen Leng obtained both her Bachelor’s degree (Business in Accounting) from RMIT and Master’s degree (Applied Finance) from Macquarie University in Australia. She has extensive experience in the corporate world, including auditing in Price Waterhouse and in the Banking industry, covering treasury department’s various functions such as Foreign exchanges, derivative products, etc. She has been a founder Lecturer for the Global College in the Accounting and Finance disciplines since its establishment in 2004. Yen Leng is currently the Head of Accounting Specialism. The Accounting and Finance specialisms prepare students for entry into degree courses as well as careers in the Accounting or Finance fields . Students completing the programmes will be able to gain exemptions for up to six courses towards the professional ACCA qualifications. 　　王燕玲在澳大利墨尔本皇家理工大学亚获得商业会计学士学位，并在麦考瑞大学获得应用金融学硕士学位。她在商业机构包括会计事务所和银行工作多年，有丰富的工作经验，熟识财务、金融的各项职能，包括外币兑换及衍生产品等。自2004年学院成立起，她就担任会计与国际金融专业的讲师的职务，2009年出任课程主任。 　　会计和国际金融专业的课程不仅为学生继续升读本科，还为其在会计和金融领域的职业发展打下坚实的专业基础。学生完成该专业的课程后，将有资格申请英国特许公认会计师公会ACCA相关课程的专业资格考试豁免。

David Liu 刘伟
	Prior to joining the College, David was a Senior Logistics Manager at Sino-Australia JM Trading Co., LTD. 在来学院之前，刘伟曾任中澳合资的JM贸易有限公司的物流经理。
David has a MBA degree majoring in Logistics Management from Curtin University, Australia. He is also a Chartered Member the Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT) and a registered teacher in Singapore. He has years of teaching experience in Singapore. Prior to that, David was a Senior Logistics Manager at Sino-Australia JM Trading Co., LTD. Logistics is about managing and controlling the detailed operation to achieve effective flow of goods, services and information from the point of origin to the marketplace. The Specialism develops students into professionals capable of planning, implementing and managing the challenges posed by today’s demanding logistics operation. Courses offered cover Supply Chain Management and Principles of Logistics and Distribution. This year, a new Directed Study course is to be offered which would allow students to gain first hand experience at Logistics establishments in HK or Singapore. All logistics courses are recognized by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (HK) and up to 4 courses are exempted for CILT membership. 　　刘伟拥有澳大利亚科廷科技大学企业管理硕士学位，主修物流管理专业。 毕业后曾从事教育工作，在新加坡有多年的教学经验。在来学院工作之前，他曾任中澳合资JM贸易有限公司的物流经理，也是香港特许运输物流学会会员。 　　物流就是对货物、服务和信息从初始点到市场有效流通的具体操作的管理和控制。该专业课程涵盖供应链管理以及物流和运销原理，学院开设的物流特设课程使学生能够实地接触香港及新加坡物流业的第一手资讯及经验。 　　物流管理专业旨在培养专业人才，能够计划、实施并应对当代物流运作中的各种挑战以促使商业活动成功运行。所有专业课程都为香港特许物流运输学会CILT所承认，学生如完成所有课程，将有资格申请香港特许运输物流学会CILT最多４门课程的专业资格考试豁免。

Wong Kok Hoe 黄国豪
	Kok Hoe enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience in IT with his students while improving his own spoken and written Mandarin. 国豪乐于和他的学生分享他在IT方面的知识和经验，与此同时提高自己普通话的交谈和书写能力。
After having graduated with a Ph.D. in Computing from UK, Dr. Wong’s first job was a Consultant with Microsoft. There he designed and implemented IT solutions for several conglomerates, which include Royal Dutch Shell, Citibank, Prudential, and Petronas for nearly 4 years before moving on to another multinational known as Datacraft, which is the world’s number one Cisco partner, to run their Microsoft business unit. At the same time, he was a final-year project supervisor for Tunku Abdul Rahman University (UTAR) where a group of his students bagged the 3rd prize for the best ICT projects. In 2007, he decided to come to Suzhou to take a break from the very stressful IT job. But after working in the College, he truly appreciates the very pleasant life here and decided to stay. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience in IT with his students while improving his spoken and written Mandarin. 　　在英国获得计算机博士学位之后，黄国豪获得他的第一份工作――微软公司顾问。四年里，他为许多联合大企业设计和实施了IT解决方案，包括Royal Dutch Shell, Citibank, Prudential, Petronas等。后来他在Datacraft工作，Datacraft是与世界闻名的Cisco的合作伙伴。同时他兼任拉曼大学的毕业生毕业论文导师，他的一组学生获得了最优秀ICT论文的三等奖学金。 　　最初他决定到苏州是要暂时离开他成功的IT工作，减轻压力。但自从加入我院后，才发觉他在苏州的日子是很愉快的。他乐于和他的学生分享他在IT方面的知识和经验，与此同时提高自己普通话的交谈和书写能力。

公共课程教师 Common Courses Lecturer  Zhou Lihui 周力辉
	周力辉是我院公共课课程主任，在苏州大学在职修读法学博士，主要研究方向为社会发展理论，曾发表论文数十篇，出版《风雨兼程》等著作。
周力辉，河北石家庄人，于大连理工大学获得法学硕士，现于苏州大学修读在职法学博士。现任学院公共课课程主任，教工党支部书记，主要研究方向为社会发展理论，曾发表论文数十篇，出版《风雨兼程》等著作，并兼任苏州园区独墅湖高教区联合党校教师。 　　目前，学院公共课主要开设思想道德修养与法律基础、毛泽东思想和中国特色社会主义理论体系概论、高等数学、大学语文、军事理论、计算机基础、职业发展与就业指导、形势与政策、体育九门课程，承担全院学生的公共基础课程教学工作。
